BYE BYE CARINE...WHO WILL REPLACE HER??

This morning when i've heard about "THE NEWS" i was simply shocked!
After 10 brilliants years of Vogue Paris she've decided to quit the magazine. Carine Roitfeld has declared that she intends to devote her work to personal projects and the news of his resignation was given by the New York Times.
She said: "When everything is perfect, the time to change is arrived!!"
Her decision to leave the magazine arrives in a real bad moment for the publishing industry and for the fashion system..this is a clear sign that something is changing also for those who hold leading positions for many years and are regarded as icons.
My question is: Who will be the next? What will happen?

PHILIPP PAULUS..SO YOUNG, SO TALENTED!!

Not much is known about him, and it is also normal given her age! Philipp Paulus was born in 1991 in Germany and, to date, he moved according to work needs. I'm sure we will hear very soon and very often for him .. you have to keep an eye on this young photographer!
I saw some photos and I fell in love .. a romantic and nostalgic style .. but so very current and contemporary.

RAPHAEL YOUNG: URBAN HAUTE COUTURE SHOES

When i saw for the first time his shoes i've tought: "He's a genius!!..in his shoes i can find everything i want to make my look stunning!
Raphael Young is born in Seoul but he lives in Paris (of course, let me say...)!
Raphael is a true artisan and a real craftsman, having a rare nowledge of traditional shoe-making techniques that set him apart from fellow designers. He makes from stitch to finish every single shoe, as he was taught by his uncle Alexandre Narcy, who spent his entire career designing shoes for Yves Saint Laurent.
A perfect style mixed between Star Wars and a futuristic way of life... love it!!!

SCULPTURE SHOES: CHAU HAR LEE

Here a shoes designer "new entry". Her name is Chau Har Lee and i think you should keep an eye on her work!
Shoes as artwork. Chau Har Lee is a young London based designer graduated at Royal College of Art.
I believe her style could be summarize in what her cites as her key looks: "the steel heels and the flat pack shoes"... then let's just enjoy her creations, availables at Selfridges!

SANDRA BACKLUND'S "HAUTE GARBAGE"

Sandra Backlund is a young Swedish designer. In knightwear she has discovered herself niche turning her creations into a "pieces of art".
Her style is defined as a "Haute Garbage" because the materials...a contrast between natural fabrics and recycled fabrics, that's why Haute Couture and Common Garbage are blended togheter.  
I think she's a really talented and innovative designer, it's not so easy to make the knitwear work so contemporaneous!
