First of all, i love bow ties..then, those are from Lanvin and their elegance is indisputable!!!
They are the favorite neckwear of Alber Elbaz and he brilliantly give to this collection a singular twist.
The traditional dandy accessory is revisited by the designer in a funny and contemporary way. Definitely, MUST HAVE!!!!

ELLIOT WARD-FEAR

Here a new 21 years old talent from Sydney. The boy who "didn't ever had the intention of getting into fashion" but "I use to wear a lot of dresses since i was child..."is now, day by day, featured in many important magazines. With his cheeky cut outs, sixties bunny inspired lilac faux fur and school girl pleating, Ward-Fear's present his FW011 collection. His concept idea is the movement from life to death... "i'm obsessed with this idea of trascending!"

LI XIAOFENG: CERAMIC CLOTHES!

Li Xiaofeng is a beijing artist who creates clothing pieces made from traditional chinese ceramics. He makes the clothings from ceramic shards which are sewn together on a leather undergarment.
I find his work really curious but definitely interesting!
Last challenge for this chinese artist is to create two polo for SS011  Lacoste collection. The result is amazing..look at these!!!

HEYNIEK-FANTASTIC FATALISM- SS011 COLLECTION

Niek Pulles aka Heyniek is a creative film maker, visual artist, stylist, designer... 2009 graduated from Design Academy of Eindhoven.
For this SS011 she decided to create a collection inspired by the end of the world. It's about the predicted apocalypse in 2012. "If the world must end, it does so in style" ....

I love the way the artists represents their different point of view showing their "own" Ken amd Barbie.
They place this classic childhood toys in a different light.. funny, intriguing, curious, freaky, grotesque, weird, crazy... look at my selection!!!

Una Burke. Here another London College of Fashion great promise! Brilliant work focused on the "human trauma" and inspired by past experiences, feelings and emotions were art and fashion are a couple.
The stunning collection consists of  "a series of eight physical geatures associated with the cause and effect of human trauma".
