MADAME GRèS, LA COUTURE à L'OEUVRE. PARIS MUSéE BOURDELLE

It was the 30's and Coco Chanel and Elsa Schiapparelli were already rivals. But a third lady of fashion began to be talked about: Germane Emile Crebs, better knows as Madame Grès.

She wanted to be a sculptor and she showed it working on the fabric as if it were stone. 

Statues of pure couture. The uniqueness of her art is exhibited at De Bourdelle Museum in Paris, in a show on stage until July 24th.

A mix of elegance and casual. No accessories. A debut for this Fw11-12 collection that can be considered a sort of capsule. Few pieces, very succesful!!! 

A DIP INTO THE 90'S: GALLIANO FOR DIOR, MCQUEEN FOR GIVENCHY AND ANTONIO BERARDI

The 90's woman certainly is not holy. Sinner, provocative and pretty bitch. Despite everything, she has style. The 90's are affected by the excesses of the previous decade. Fashion becomes minimal, while staying pittoresque.

A motel on the catwalk and daring women for Antonio Berardi Fw1999-2000. A frenzy NY, scene of lively female lives.

John Galliano also if he's not the same... FW2011-12

I'll be unpopular, or perhaps taken for granted..but i liked Galliano collection. Or, despite everything he has not lost its allure, the magic, the outline... What happened to John marks the end. It's a stranger beginning.

I'M CLAPPING4 ANN DEMEULEMEESTER+BALENCIAGA FW2011-12 PARIS

Ann Demeulemeester. Total black, tailoring, dry fit, super skinny. It's a contemporary punk style, different. Lots of leather, silk and fur that follows the body shape. Beauty make up, fake disheveled..simple grooming framing a strong collection, classy.

 

Balenciaga. Nicolas Ghesquière. Games of proportions, overlays, colors, fabrics. He plays with surrealism remaining absolutely real.

PARIS FW2011-2012 WOMENSWEAR: ANNE VALéRIE HASH AND FELIPE OLIVEIRA BAPTISTA

L'air Parisienne is always exciting. My personal applause goes to Anne Valérie Hash with a very confident woman. Fascinating. Draped cargo pants, multi-layer style with an ultrafeminine twist. A mix of fabrics like soft silk, fur and the strong wool. A natural color palette with a spot of black.

 

Interesting Fall-winter also for Felipe Oliveira Baptista. Structured shapes, defined silhouettes, precious embroidery, fur. The collection is definitely chic, feminine and experimental. The designers plays with volumes and balances.
